A fractional CISO, sometimes called a vCISO, is a part-time security leader who sets direction, manages risk and reports to leadership, engaged on a flexible basis rather than as a full-time hire.

Can a fractional CISO help us prepare for an audit or customer security review?
Yes. A fractional CISO helps you understand what a framework like SOC 2 or HIPAA, or a customer's security questionnaire, asks for, then close gaps and organize evidence.
Can you check whether our managed security provider is doing its job?
Yes. We review what your contract promises against what is actually covered, such as asset and log coverage, patching and monitoring, and give you a clear list of gaps to fix.
